In September 2018, I took up a new position in Oxford:
- Professor of Logic in the Faculty of Philosophy at Oxford University, and
- Sir Peter Strawson Fellow in Philosophy, University College, Oxford.
I am looking forward to starting this new chapter in my life and academic career.
Wish me luck!
Congratulations!
Good Luck!!
Congratulation and may the best be with you, Professor Hamkins!
Good luck, Joel!
from what little i know of your work in combinatorial games, i don’t think luck is going to be a factor at all 😉 well done, sir
Congratulations, Joel!
Maybe the following quote of your Oxford fellow serves as a good epigraph for the upcoming new chapter of your life! 😉
“The world is indeed full of peril and in it there are many dark places. But still there is much that is fair. And though in all lands, love is now mingled with grief, it still grows, perhaps, the greater.” – J. R. R. Tolkien
Bravo!
Congratulations!
Congratulations Joel!
That’s great!
